The intent of this release is to gather together all of the Muslimgauze material from the 1980s. All of this material has been long out of print in it's original formats.

As was the case with Completely Oblique all of the masters have had to be created from original vinyl and cassette media as all the original masters were long ago destroyed or lost. The process of doing this is extremely time consuming and very expensive but in our opinion very worthwhile.

We had talked with Bryn about making this material available once again but at the time he was producing so much new material that he felt there was no place on the rosters of the available vehicles for such an undertaking. It was only after Bryn's passing that we made the decision to undertake this ourselves and thus The Label was started.

The material here is extremely close to our hearts as this is where our relationship started and we were lucky enough to have had the chance to grow with Muslimgauze as Bryn grew.

He was a very special person and while working on this, as on The Messenger, it is still difficult to grasp that he's no longer with us.
